  • Place another slice of bread on top and the sandwich is ready.

Tuna Sandwich Spread

  • A pair of olives, fresh basil leaves, and celery sticks chopped.
  • Fresh tomatoes, coarsely chopped
  • Mayonnaise (preferably light)
  • Grated orange/lemon zest, to taste
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


Mix the tuna, olives, celery, and tomatoes in a salad bowl. Then add mayonnaise, basil, orange zest, salt, and pepper to taste. For the tuna spread, carefully mix everything together.

Place tuna filling on a slice of bread, garnish with herbs, and top with another slice of bread.
